The Idaho Hunter Jumper Association is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the hunter/jumper equestrian sport in the state of Idaho. Our mission is to encourage, approve, and support high quality hunter/jumper competitions and to ensure that all sanctioned shows are conducted in a safe sportsmanship manner.

The IHJA is responsible for writing and approving the rules and regulations for competitions and determining classes and divisions to be offered at IHJA sanctioned shows. IHJA also sponsors medal classes and awards for Association members.

Everyone interested in participating in or helping to promote the sport of Hunter Jumper is welcomed and we encourage you to become a member.

IHJA membership benefits include:

Active involvement in determining the future of the sport of hunter jumper in Idaho,

Participation in IHJA sponsored medal classes (Haven Acres Mini Medal, BSJC Show Jumping Medal, and the Rivergrove Farm Medal),

Year end awards,

Annual Awards Banquet

We also encourage membership in the Boise Saddle and Jump Club. The BSJC organizes and conducts the IHJA sanctioned hunter jumper shows in southern Idaho as well as numerous schooling shows, clinics, and fun days in the Boise area.
